Respiratory Protection

Protecting your team from airborne hazards isn’t just smart-it’s required. With EPA labels requiring respirators or in any manufacturing environment requiring respirators, OSHA requires that a respiratory protection program is put in place, and goes beyond just a regular fit test annually; a medical examination and written program is needed.

Start with these 4 easy steps to build your Respiratory Protection Program. Need help? Ask our expert.
  1. Program Administration - Set up your team, define roles.
  2. Respirator Selection - Make hazard-based choices and make sure you adhere to standards and compliance of regulatory requirements.
  3. Medical Evaluations - Use OSHAS Appendix C Questionnaire.
  4. Fit Testing - Last step after all others are completed, repeat once a year.
