  • How is FlamePRO® applied to wood products?

    FlamePRO® is pressure treated into the wood products.
    The building codes do not allow wood products “coated” or “painted” with fire retardant coatings to be used as substitutes for pressure impregnated (pressure treated) fire retardant treated wood.

    • Chemicals in FlamePRO® react with gases & tars converting them to char.
